A total of 62 cars and 14 different manufacturers have been confirmed as Mick Schumacher, Valentino Rossi and Romain Grosjean named among drivers

The 101st year of the Le Mans 24h is just a matter on months away and the FIA has released details of the 62-car grid.

The FIA released the Le Mans 24h entry list on Monday 19 February. It is complied of 62 cars, 14 manufacturers and 186 drivers – some of which are still to be confirmed.

The 2024 edition of the legendary race will take place from 12-16 June.

Among the long list of confirmed drivers, are some big names including ex-F1 drivers Mick Schumacher and Romain Grosjean, as well as MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi.

Also back behind the wheel for Ferrari will be British driver James Calado. On the back of winning Le Mans in 2023, Calado appeared at the Autosport International Show this January at the NEC in Birmingham alongside the victorious Ferrari 499P.

The 2023 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was one to remember. The Prancing Horse galloped back onto the scene WEC scene, winning their first title in 58 years. This ended Toyota’s five-year period of Le Mans domination.

Le Mans 24h at Circuit de la Sarthe

It was an historic event as the Circuit de la Sarthe hosted its 100th year of the event. It attracted a total of 325,000 fans, including celebrity guests like LeBron James and Charles Leclerc.
