Ford v Ferrari: The Rivalry Returns
The 2027 edition of the Le Mans 24h will be historic. Ferrari have enjoyed a three-year domination since their return to the Hypercar class in 2023, but their old rivals Ford are back. The American outfit is the latest big name brand join the WEC top class reigniting the legendary rivalry, harking back to that iconic 1966 edition.
As if that wasn’t enough, 2027 will also see McLaren throw their hat into the Hypercar ring. With rumours also swirling around a certain Max Verstappen’s growing frustration with Formula 1 and a desire to race at Le Mans, who knows what the next edition of the world’s most epic race could look like…

Le Mans Classic Heritage 2027
The Le Mans Classic will also be moving to a new annual format, alternating between the Legend (cars from 1976-2015) and Heritage (cars from 1923-1975) editions.
The first Le Mans Classic Heritage edition will take place in 2027.
