Sports cars, touring cars and single-seaters race in Dijon

The Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or is a highlight of the historic motorsport calendar. Pitting race cars, sports cars, touring cars, and Formula 2 single-seaters against each other around the former site of the French Grand Prix in Dijon, it’s a favourite among classic racing fans.

Between 1974 and 1988, the Circuit de Dijon-Prenois hosted five Formula 1 Grands Prix, with winners including Alain Prost, Niki Lauda, and Mario Andretti. Steeped in history already, the Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or is a chance to experience competitive racing action around this circuit once again.

Motorsport Travel Destinations offers a comprehensive touring package for the event which includes tickets, accommodation, and Eurotunnel crossings for spectators.

Leaving Folkestone on Thursday, the tour will pass through the stunning vineyards of Champagne with an overnight stay and meal included. Friday sees the tour move into picturesque Burgundy passing the circuit as the cars take to the track for practice, and checking into the hotel in Gevrey-Chambertin.

For the weekend, your entrance tickets grant you access to the public viewing areas of the track and the paddock, where you can get up close to the cars after they have been in action. Should you arrive in a pre-1966 vehicle, you are granted parking in the Motorsport Travel Destinations area inside the circuit, and parade laps of the track are available.

On Sunday, the final sessions take place on track as the event comes to a close. Your return Eurotunnel crossing will be booked for Monday, and you can return at your own pace.

This unique offering from Motorsport Travel Destinations is available for the next edition of the Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or. You will find more details on the package below and can book at your convenience.
