GETTING TO THE CIRCUIT

You've arrived in Le Mans, you've checked in to your accommodation, you've wandered around the streets of Le Mans, perhaps sat and enjoyed a coffee on a sunny terrace, but now it's time to check out the circuit.

The legendary Circuit de la Sarthe is located around 6.5km from the centre of Le Mans. Some people may choose to walk the distance (around 1hour and a half) but the majority will opt for either to free shuttle bus or the tram.

    Free Shuttle Bus

Leaving from the Le Mans railway station, the free bus service to the circuit will operate between the hours of 10am and 4pm, and will leave every 15 minutes.

The service is free with your admission ticket. Note, the bus shuttle stop is a 10 minute walk from the circuit's main entrance.

      Tram

Getting around Le Mans by tram is a favoured option for many racegoers. The T1 line will take you to the stop Antarès-Stade Marie Marvingt. From there you can access the race track via the East entrance.

The tram will operate from 05:30 to 01:00 on Wednesday 12, Thursday 13 and Friday 14 June (every 5 to 12 minutes).

The tram will operate non-stop from 05:30 on Saturday 15 to 23:30 on Sunday 16 June (every 6 to 10 minutes - except from 3am to 6am when it will be every 30 minutes)

The Live ticket costs €5 one-way and is valid from trams and busses in Le Mans.

NOTE: The tram will not stop at Guetteloup on Saturday 15 June 11:00 - 23:00 and Sunday 16 June 16:00 - 19:00.
