Itinerary of Jaguar Ireland Driving Tour 2024

Sunday 12 May

Crossing on Stena Lines from Holyhead to Dublin. From Dublin it’s a drive to the south across the River Liffey and down the coast to Druids Glen. The drive should take just under an hour, and waiting for the guests will be a welcome barbecue.

Monday 13 May

Up and over the Wicklow mountains to Russborough House. Monday morning will see us set out into the spectacular mountainous region of Wicklow. On our descent down the other side awaits the stately home of Russborough House. The 18th century building houses prized art and artefacts and offers a truly grand day out. After that, we return to Druids Glen by a different, equally spectacular, route.

Tuesday 14 May

Today we head for the coast. The promenade at Bray awaits, with a pitstop at the hidden beach of Magheramore and then on to Brittas Bay. Our drive then takes us inland to the biggest race track in Ireland, Mondello Park, where some special surprises will be waiting for the guests. Then it’s back to the hotel – spa anyone?

Wednesday 15 May

Our circular drive will take in the beautiful Wicklow village of Enniskerry and Powerscourt Gardens and Waterfall. Then it’s back into the mountains along the Military Road, which was built along the Wicklow Mountain ridge by the British in the 1800s. In the evening, a tour dinner has been arranged for the guests.

Thursday 16 May

Today is a free day. If you want to return to somewhere we’ve already been, or just take a drive then feel free. Maybe the golfers will hit the green? However, today may be the ideal opportunity to discover historic Dublin. Why not hop on the DART train into the city centre?

Friday 17 May

After one last hearty Irish breakfast, it’s time to head home. We return north up the coast to Dublin to take the ferry back to Holyhead, landing that afternoon.
