The Goodwood Festival of Speed has been an ever-present on the motorsport calendar since 1993. One of its most famous attractions is The Hillclimb, a 1.16-mile course that winds its way through the Goodwood Estate. The course is used for exhilarating timed runs, where drivers blast up the hill in a variety of cars from different eras and categories. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of vehicles, from classic cars to the latest supercars and everything in between throughout the weekend.
Introduced in 2005 alongside the Hillclimb, is the Forest Rally Stage set at the top of the hill, which features rally cars racing on a specially designed rally stage in the Goodwood Estate forest. The Forest Rally stage is a great opportunity to see some of the most powerful and capable rally cars in action on a challenging course.
Another highlight of the Festival of Speed is the Cartier Style et Luxe which displays some of the most beautiful and historically significant cars. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of cars, from classic sports cars to luxury vehicles, all of which have been carefully selected for their style and elegance.
The Michelin Supercar Paddock offers the chance to get up close to the fastest, most technically advanced and most beautiful supercars in one display. Other exhibits and displaysshowcase the latest cars, motorcycles and other vehicles from various manufacturers. Visitors can expect to see the latest models and concept cars from some of the world’s most prestigious car brands, as well as the latest innovations in the Electric Avenue.
For those who love technology, the Festival of Speed is a great opportunity to see the latest innovations and advancements in automotive technology, alongside futuristic concept vehicles within the Future Lab Pavilion.
It also wouldn’t be Goodwood without a celebration of aviation. Daily flybys and an annual display from the Red Arrows accompany the show, alongside a bespoke Central Feature that sets each year’s theme, to the front of the main house.
