After Ferrari\u2019s back-to-back triumphs in 2023 and 2024, the 2025 race brought even more drama as the #83 AF Corse entry extended the marque\u2019s winning streak at Le Mans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driven by Phil Hanson, Yifei Ye and former F1 driver Robert Kubica, the #83 AF Corse became the first customer team to win Le Mans outright since Champion Racing triumphed in 2005.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, attention turns to the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans this June – Round 3 of the 2026 WEC season. A new South Korean manufacturer steps onto the world stage, proven winners return with upgraded machinery, and a two-time overall Le Mans champion is back at the wheel with his own team. Will the established powers respond, or is a shake-up on the horizon?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this blog, we take a closer look at the full 2026 Le Mans entry list, breaking down the key teams, drivers, and storylines to watch across every class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HYPERCAR CLASS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Hypercar category continues to deliver spine-tingling racing, with close finishes and multiple cars on the lead lap now the norm. An 18-car field lines up this year, packed with factory entries from world-renowned manufacturers including Alpine, Aston Martin, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Genesis, Peugeot and Toyota.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferrari <\/strong>head into the race chasing a historic fourth consecutive victory at Le Mans since returning to the top class in 2023. The Prancing Horse will field three 499P entries, all with familiar battle-hardened line-ups. The #50 (winner in 2024) features Antonio Fuoco<\/strong>, Miguel Molina<\/strong> and Nicklas Nielsen<\/strong>. The #51 (victor in 2023) lines up reigning WEC champions Alessandro Pier Guidi<\/strong>, James Calado<\/strong> and Antonio Giovinazzi<\/strong>. The #83 AF Corse car, which took the most recent 2025 Le Mans win, returns with Yifei Ye<\/strong>, Robert Kubica<\/strong> and Phil Hanson<\/strong>. With three wins already under their belt and strong recent form in the WEC, Ferrari will be the team to beat once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genesis<\/strong> make their highly anticipated Hypercar debut and mean business right away. The South Korean manufacturer\u2019s premium brand enters two brand-new GMR-001 cars via Genesis Magma Racing. The #17 will be driven by three-time Le Mans winner Andr\u00e9 Lotterer<\/strong> (victories in 2011, 2012 and 2014), teamed with endurance stalwart Luis Felipe \u201cPipo\u201d Derani<\/strong> and promising young French talent Mathys Jaubert<\/strong>. The sister #19 features Paul-Loup Chatin<\/strong>, Mathieu Jaminet<\/strong> and Daniel Juncadella<\/strong>, who between them bring 17 Le Mans starts. This is no toe-in-the-water entry – Genesis are not to be uderestimated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elsewhere, Toyota<\/strong> return with the heavily reworked GR010 Hybrid, the same platform that delivered outright wins in 2021 and 2022. Four-time winner S\u00e9bastien Buemi<\/strong> and three-time winner Brendon Hartley<\/strong> lead the charge once again in the #8, hungry to end Ferrari\u2019s recent dominance and add to Toyota\u2019s Le Mans tally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
