Le Mans Classic 2023 will take place 29 June – 3 July, straddling the sunniest summer months, and following on from the 24 Hours of Le Mans<\/a> (10 – 11 June).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 celebrates 100 years of heritage at Le Mans<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n

The heritage of the Le Mans as a venue and race track dates all the way back to 1923 when the first 24 hours of Le Mans was held. The more mathematically astute will have deduced, is exactly 100 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WEC race returns this year and in the same month an extra special Le Mans Classic will follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Mans Classic has a real festival feel<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n

As motorsport gatherings go, Le Mans Classic is one of the biggest and best established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 190,000 fans descended on the French town for this sport-chic festival in 2022, including classic drivers and other celebrities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Away from the circuit, fans can explore the paddock where they can get up close to these iconic machines. But it\u2019s not just car fanatics that will enjoy the Le Mans Classic. The festival vibes continue in the off-track activities too, with live entertainment, music, dancing, and exceptional cuisine – after all, we are in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 bucks the trend<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Usually held once every two years, the Le Mans Classic is back for an unprecedented third straight year in 2023. Good news for the fans, the change is a consequence of Covid-related cancellations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Classic naturally follows on from the 24 hours of Le Mans race, the jewel in the crown of the World Endurance Championship calendar. The race, which for the last three years has seen Hollywood movie star Michael Fassbender compete, also takes place at the Circuit de la Sarthe a couple of weeks before the Classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Endurance Racing Legends, Porsche Classics and grids of cars as far as the eye can see, the sounds and smells of Classic cars will electrify the senses for all the family<\/p>\n\n\n\n
